About The Founder
Frederika Turner is a luxury enthusiast and dedicated mother who has transformed her appreciation for life’s finer things into a valuable resource for fellow mums.
After becoming a mother, Frederika recognised the need for family-friendly yet luxurious experiences and began curating recommendations for upscale restaurants and hotels that cater to both discerning tastes and the needs of young families.
Through organising and hosting exclusive events in high-end venues, she has nurtured a vibrant community of luxury-loving mums, providing a platform for connection and shared experiences.
A Word From The Founder
In my own experience, becoming a new mum and being fully consumed by caring for my baby (and all the other jobs that come with it) meant that I put the things I enjoyed doing on the back burner. Then even when I had the opportunity to do those things, I felt excluded from certain experiences and was put off from going to places that I used to go to out of worry that I couldn’t take the baby.
I found myself considering booking a table at a new swanky restaurant in central London, but once questions crept in like “will they have an accessible and clean baby change”, “will I be able to feed the baby in a private area”, “what if it’s too noisy?” I swiftly changed my mind about booking.
This led to me sticking to those coffee shops and cafes in my local area which I knew were baby friendly. Before long I started to miss the delicious food, exotic cocktails and luxury ambiances that I had been used to when going out during my pre-mum life.

How TLMG Started
I shared this feeling with some mum friends who all expressed the desire to go to nice places and do nice things, but like me, the uneasiness they felt around bringing their babies was preventing them from being able to partake in luxury experiences.
After realising that I wasn’t alone, The Luxury Mum Guide was born. By sharing baby and toddler-friendly venues such as restaurants, bars and personal care services my aim is to encourage and empower mums to continue to enjoy luxury experiences.
